I was visiting my mom from Boston and jonesing for quality sushi with a hip atmosphere and found it here! The variety of options (both food and beverage) were plentiful, the vibe relaxed, and the sushi done artfully well. The wait service was exceptional - Whitney was our server and not only was she friendly and personable but knowledgable of other local spots I was hoping to check out while in town and offered other suggestions that proved great as well. I'm looking forward to a return trip for sure!

I wish I could give a better review. I was appalled that after spending a SIGNIFICANT amount of money for, in my opinion, over priced sushi, we were asked to leave! That's right! We paid our bill and lingered for another 15 minutes chatting with our friends. It's not like there was a line of people waiting to get in either! This was my first time to this restaurant and for this reason alone, I'm not going back. This is no way to treat your customers! This left a bad taste in my mouth.

I have been to Blu Sushi many times and was so excited when I found out they had opened one downtown Fort Myers. The service was really good the waitress was really friendly and our food came less than 10 minutes which was amazing!!!!!!! Lunch time deals are amazing they have all you can eat for $16.95 or $9.95 for soup or salad and 1 choice of what sushi kind you want. I had the find what baby with was asparagus, salmon, cream cheese and fish eggs. Yummy!!!!! It's supposed to be deep fried but I asked not to fry it. For desert I had cram brûlée which was delicious!!!!! It is in a little heavier side so definitely share it!!!! Definitely stop by and try it!

So I came back with friends during happy hour. Uhm, we were all confused if this was even a happy hour price. They didn't have many sushi options for happy hour and all prices were at $6.00. So if you wanted to order let's say a salmon roll retail price 6.95. The happy hour price will be 6.00. That's not really "happy hour" if you ask me.

DO NOT SIT INSIDE. The techno is too loud and everything is blue. I almost had a seizure. The sushi was okay, and service was par. It was a tad spensive for lunch, but I get that it's a touristy/retire-y area and they can charge a premium for that. It was better than Nashviile sushi, so it was a treat, but definitely not Bay Area quality.

Stumbled across blu sushi at their downtown location while walking around during music walk. I have been to blu sushi before at different locations and didn't hold high hopes for this location. I was very surprised my the service and how quickly I got a table cleaned and set for me. The wait staff was on point, the waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, and when I got a chance to meet the manager he took the time to talk and listen to our feed back from the night. Over all I will be visiting again and looking forward to another wonderful night full of drinks and sushi.

Went for dinner with friends and we had a great time. We probably ordered 20 rolls for our entire table, some of our favorites were the volcano rolls, lava drops and the PB&J. I thought it was pricier than most sushi restaurants but you're also paying for the location and the atmosphere... Which was pretty cool.

First of all, let me preface that I love Blu Sushi. I have been going to the one at Gulf Coast Town Center for the past five years. My friend and I came to the one downtown because we had never been to this location. The walls are really neat and have cool images that change every couple of minutes. The food was pretty good. My friend had the endless sushi lunch, which she enjoyed except for the ginger dressing on the salad. So, why two stars? This place is very small. We were practically cozied up to two complete strangers at our table for two. This made it difficult to even hold a conversation with my friend. When we first sat down we ordered waters. We waited and waited for these waters and saw our server delivering food and drinks to other tables in the meantime. When we ordered, she informed us that the glasses were being cleaned and it would be a little while on the water. We ended up ordering a couple of beers when we ordered our lunch. Our entire meals came out before we ever saw a beer or glass of water. No, I take that back... We got to see our beers sitting on the bar for a while before the food and a little while after our food arrived we finally got our beers. Halfway into our meal, we got our waters and I quickly drank mine because I was so thirsty. It wasn't until after our meals that somebody finally came around and refilled it. I found it odd that we had to ask for ginger and wasabi, when every other sushi place I have been to puts it on the dish with your sushi. We received pretty poor service and while the manager walked past us 20+ times, many times without a drink on the table, he never once stopped to see if everything was ok. I am just overall disappointed because I was really looking forward to going to this location.
